Fully updated - used 3 diffrent downloadmanagers - Used 2 diffrent computers - I've contacted my ISP, petetiond them id there could be a problem on their end. - Disabeld ALL non nessary functions in windows. and i mean ALL - By-passed my switch - firmware updated my computer - Bios updated my network card. - Checked my computer with 2 diffrent Anti-virus programs - Checked my harddrive with Chkdsk, Norton diskmanager and scan disk IM out of ideas! __________________________________________i belive in god, if he belives in EVE

Engelious Angelion Minmatar The Fated Interstellar Alcohol Conglomerate	Posted - 2007.10.16 21:20:00 - [12] Edited by: Engelious Angelion on 16/10/2007 21:20:53 I got a reply from my ISP, Im on a 'YouSee(TDC DK)' Cabel line 2024/512 They have come with following suggestion: some old connection gather points, has been reported for giving such errors wen the user, is using motorola 4200SB series Cabel-modem. ....(Alot of boring stuf... you will soon recive a new Cabel modem, that cloud solve your problem. Im shareing this as i migt not be the only Cabel modem user here, sitting on an outdated internet connection hub, using an out of date cabel modem. It seems alot of ppl CANT! download eve!.....neither can i and now i can verify that the problem ISNT!!! on my end... Ive tried all that can be done, ive even had my ISP check their lines, and routes and MADE them give me a new cabel modem.. so... ??? Originally by: CCP Sharkbait i have just downloaded the installer and it appears to be fine. i've just looked on the ftp site for limelight and i noticed an older build. you could try downloading this and then patch up. the build is from 7th of june this year. try downloading and see if that doesn't work. i'm 100% sure that is working. will look into this further tomorrow morning If that doesn't download cleanly, then that points squarely at your ISP. If it does download cleanly, you should be able to auto-patch up to the current version, which will bypass any issues with the full installer. --P If you cared to read the entire thread you would find that the problem isnt only for me... AND! sorry but im getting off.. course i've done evrything possible on my side!.. EVERYTHING.. and my isp took it VERY seriously if they were the course of the problem!... they even send a tech worker to check the connections spots from my home to their larger hubs. Another insentive is, that this problem is ONLY with EVE download... I've tried several other games, files at 1 gb+ and NO PROBLEMO!.. so I can download everything fine... Some ****ty windows, driver what ever thing... how ever.. im not the only person with the problem. Which means this isnt a stand-alone issue. So what ever the course if this is, must be in CCP's intrest to figure out.
